BindHQ Highlights from 2021

Here are the highlights for some of the major features we released in 2021.

• The Document UI Refactoring 

We refactored the document UI to reflect the addition of new fields and an easier organization of the flow on the pages in the Documents within the platform. The new refactoring of the UI includes the ability to organize documents more easily, an intuitive drag and drop feature, simple filtering of documents by labels, and text search. 

• Brokerage Manager 

This feature allows you to add a new brokerage submission. You can select a template for the brokerage submission and add documents. The Brokerage Manager allows you to do mass marketing via email, block the market more quickly by sending one email to multiple markets, tracking brokerage submission status, and comparing rates within the different markets. • RapidRate Comparative Rater

We also rolled out our RapidRate Comparative Rater feature. This feature allows you to submit an account to different carriers and obtain quotes at the same time. Not only does this eliminate the need for duplicate data entry, but it also allows you to obtain bindable quotes from 4 carriers in under 10 seconds! • Line Items As Collected Report

Another new report which we have rolled out is the Line Items as Collected Report. 

This report can be used to display all invoices and their collection status by line item. You can check the collection status of policies, and the report shows columns for “Producer” and “Billing Type” to provide you with more information. The link to our Knowledge Base article is here. 

• Production Export Report

This is one of our most comprehensive reports. It represents a complete data dump with all of the policy information in your system. The report can help you to identify significant information about policies, producers, agencies, and carriers. You can find more information about the report in our Knowledge Base article. 

• California SLA XML Submission 

We also rolled out our updated functionality which allows for surplus lines submissions in California. This can help the compliance team to file surplus lines submissions much more quickly, freeing up time for other compliance activities. By reducing the burden of the compliance team, our surplus lines submissions feature saves time and allows you to file surplus lines documents much more efficiently. For other features, we also added a “Producer” column to the Agency Payables Direct Bill Report, which should now allow you to look at the producers associated with agency payable reporting. In addition, we added a “Producer” column to the account pages for General Ledger accounts.
