This article explains how you can use the Trial Balance report to generate a report of all debits and credits in the General Ledger.
You can use this report to answer the following questions:
- Where can I see a listing of all debits and credits in the General Ledger?
The Trial Balance report allows you to view debits and credits for each division of your agency if you have multiple divisions.
To generate the report, select the division and specify whether you want it by period or by day. You can also choose to break it down by cost center and calculate retained earnings.
You can quickly see which accounts are Debit accounts and which are Credit accounts.
- By clicking on the button on the far right hand side, you can choose between two options:
- View Account
- Download CSV
- View Account takes you to the selected ‘[Account Page]’ - in this case the account is ‘Undeposited Funds.’
