Introduction:

Ascend is a simple and powerful payment platform that automates accounts receivable automation (fully supported) and accounts payable automation (full support coming soon). Using Ascend, you can focus on your main tasks while it takes care of the payment process, saving you time, reducing errors, and making everything easier.

Key Features:

  1. Automated Invoices:
    When a policy is created and an invoice is generated, it can be shared directly with the retail agent via a link. This eliminates manual follow-ups, providing a smooth experience for all parties and saving time.
  2. Seamless Payment Processing:
    Clients can make payments directly through the Ascend platform. Once payment is made, Ascend manages the distribution of funds to carriers, agents, and other necessary parties. Payments are applied accurately to bills, reducing errors and saving time.
  3. Accurate Fund Distribution:
    Ascend ensures funds are properly allocated, ensuring the right amounts are paid to carriers, agents, or other recipients. Agencies receive the correct amount owed without manual intervention, reducing extra work.

How It Works:

  1. Bind the Policy:
    When a policy is bound, Ascend automatically generates an invoice in BindHQ.
  2. Share the Invoice:
    The invoice is shared with the retail agent with a direct link.
  3. Client Payment:
    The client makes payments directly through the Ascend platform.
  4. Automated Processing:
    Ascend processes payments, send funds to the right parties, and updates your accounting records automatically.

How to set up Ascend on the BindHQ environment:
1. In the sidebar navigation, select Settings, then choose Integrations.
2. After selecting the option to view and edit, click Enable Ascend Integration. This will allow you to enter the required information and save your changes.
