Using the Void Detail page

You can use the Void Detail page to view an individual void created by your agency.

This article explains how you can view the Void Detail page to view the details of an  individual Void for your agency. [You can filter by division and customer. In this instance, a customer can any of the following entities saved within BindHQ:  Insureds, Retail Agencies, Marketing Companies, Tax Authority, Suppliers ]

 You can find this page by going to the “Accounting” tab in the side navbar, then going to “General”, and then selecting “Browse & View Voids” from the Journals tab

You can use this page to answer the following questions:

  • What are the details of an individual void

The Void Detail page displays:

  • Customer type - any of the following entities saved within BindHQ:  Insureds, Retail Agencies, Marketing Companies, Tax Authority, Suppliers
  • Customer name - the UI displays both the customer type AND
  • Memo - this is a free text box
  • Transaction Date - this is the date the Void was created in BindHQ
  • Posted Date
  • Created By

 

The On-Screen Void Listing page displays all the Policies to which the Void applies.

For each of these Policies, the page displays the following columns:  Policy, Billing Type, Insured, Reference, Description, Transaction Date, Effective Date, Total and Amount.  

  • The Policy column hyperlinks to the individual Policy page included in the Void
  • The Insured column hyperlinks to the Insured Detail page in the CRM
  • The ID column hyperlinks to the Journal Detail [Insert Link] page which provides detailed information
  • The grey button on the right hand column hyperlinks to the Invoice for the particular Policy

You can click on the ‘View Receipt' button to see the Receipt to which the Void applies.
